Im having my first taste of black pudding again (blood sausage) this Saturday morning when a friend visits for a huge full English breakfast..

Palms as long as you chop it very fine its ok....

althought that term brings me interesting memories.

They might--at least at the local hounder level. The hounders might decide that eating them amounts to "eating blood" on a rumor, and anyone that continues eating them would be doing "brazen conduct".

Not that I would eat the damn things--but because they are probably loaded with monosodium glutamate, and I value my brain more than I value the monosodium glutamate in McDonalds "phude".

Seriously, I think this situation is a great problem for Watchtower. Blood's blood. If you can't eat blood sausage you shouldn't eat McNuggets.

I agree with Minimus. I did some extra research a few years ago and there are a lot of products that contain blood that the WT never mentioned... very miniscule amounts but blood nonetheless. I actually made myself crazy with the research I was doing.

I just remember hearing a talk about honesty and how even taking a paper clip from work would be stealing. And that it doesn't matter if we were to steal a penny or a milllion dollars... it's still stealing. And also 'the person faithful in what is least is also faithful in much'... so that all should apply to the blood thing too. I mean, if JWs are going to 'abstain from blood' then they better make sure they are REALLY abstaining from blood.

I'm having flashbacks now. I remember one MS saying a prayer aloud in Pizza Hut and I was feeling embarassed as I listened and looked at our pepperoni-plucked pizzas.

I thought this was crazy, so I googled... Interestingly enough, in addition to being in Chicken Nuggets, it's also in sausages, hot dogs, noodles, steak, milk, yogurt, and cheap meat.

Nickolas, I was just wondering if you happen to know why it is banned in the EU? I'm sure it isn't for the same reason the WT would ban it.

I love my steak rare, or medium rare, nice and juicey. Never ate meat well done ,even as a child. Never heard of the hot dog thing, but remember the lethithin craze. That was just plain crazy. Rumors about Mounds candy, and even White Castle hambergers. The craze didn't last long. I was happy, cuz I loved ............ White Castle hambergers........Just one more sin I didn't commit.....lol......

In the Uk Walls sausages used to contain blood and apparently (?) the changed them because of the JWs stance. Back in those days they were the main sausage supplier. I dont like pepperoni and not keen on sausages either and what on earth is a weiner?
