Have You Ever Experienced Depression?

    I think I may have clinical depression. Some of my family suffers from it. I've never taken any meds. I have had panic attacks before. You can't really describe it unless you have experienced it.

    Satanus and WasNewBoy both have great points that go together. Tolle's "Power of Now" talks about quieting the mind and recentering without the egoistic "Me"...Satanus is getting to the same point. Quiet the mind periodically so that the inner you can be tapped into. It's a powerful thing to truly quiet yourself so that you can see the true person of worth on the inside that can be and often is in harmony with the rest of the world.

    Yes. Comes in seven year cycles for me, severe when I was a witness, lesser so now. Medicine helps, freedom from mind control is another factor in getting better. It is also a fact if you have had depressive parents or grandparents your chances of having depression are higher.

    That's a great statement CoonDawg . . . you got a way with words . . . I'm reading that more than once and it get's better each time.

    It's easy to see what sort of people others are . . . and easy to forget to see ourself . . . fully that is.
