Pat Condel has been a favourite of mine for many years. Although an atheist, he is not against belief in Jesus (as Tammy just said)
He exposes the greed and the hypocrisy of mainstream church leaders of all denominations. In this video he actually endorses some of the things Jesus is reported to have said. He says that Jesus has been sold out by corrupt religion. Rock on Pat!

The wit and turn of phrase is delicious and effective.
He's now my hero. He replaces Tammy...

His critiques are greatly needed, if the wonders of European culture are going to survive much longer ( no sarcasm intended)
The clash of civilizations comes down to Jesus vs Some Other Guy. What's His Name.... It's on the tip of my tongue.....
I think the name has an "M" in it. You're supposed to be real careful with this name or his followers could kill you.
What's that name again....... Oh, wait, I know !
It's Voldemort! Yeah, that's it!

I don't know "Jesus", dear WAI (the greatest of love and peace to you!), as I've openly confessed here. I do know the Holy One of Israel, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH... and he makes no distinction between homosexuals or those who've had abortions... and any other humans. ALL have sinned, in one way or another, and he doesn't judge (not even in NT writings), so...
I agree with the gentleman as to his "Jesus" and what might occur should that one (or my Lord) encounter a religious leader, as well as what religion and their clergy have "used" him for. Interestingly, these are the only ones whose conduct he DID condemn.
I LOVE, however, his understanding of Christ's intimation as to where the kingdom of the heavens resides: IN us. I have posted that, repeatedly. While many do profess to hear a "little voice" inside them, few give credit for that voice to Christ. I do, however, because I KNOW me... and I KNOW the "good" that I am being taught is NOT from me. Because... I know ME.
I am glad that some here were able to "receive" what this gentleman had to say, regardless of whether he/they are atheists; I think that that is irrelevant (I also question that he actually IS an atheist; perhaps he's like many who, because they realize they MUST absolutely reject religion but cannot yet accept that there is a true God, label themselves "atheist" because it's closest to what they currently believe).
But the MOST interesting thing that the gentleman said... to ME... was his closing: "Peace!"
One does not have to be a christian to wish peace upon others. Nor does one have to be an atheist for such wish to be genuine. I have laerned from my Lord that, regardless of what you believe... or don't believe... wishing others peace (however you mean it: world peace, personal peace, peace of mind, peace of Christ, whathaveyou)... so long as it comes from a place of kindness, it is a good thing.
And so, again, I bid YOU peace!
A slave of Christ,
SA
