He was from Brooklyn so I imagine he was of Caribbean origin..he sounded Puerto Rican or Cuban or maybe even Dominican..Those islanders are famous for their lack of enunciation and their garbled syllables and missing endings..He barely moved his mouth when he spoke..
I remember the English brothers making up words and using horrible grammar, but I don't think anything can compare to some of the Spanish speakers who get up there and butcher the Spanish language. Some of them sound no better than their strawberry picking farm laborer parents who never had the opportunity to get as much as a primary school education.
Also, it's often the case that Circuit and District overseers are native American born Anglophones, even in the Spanish. Some of them have been in the Spanish congregation for 30 or 40 years, and their accent and grammar is still just as bad as that of a student from Spanish 102. So much for all the "holy spirit" providing them with the words they need to speak!
