I have a theory or at least an hypothesis.

Whatever level of religious intensity your family had while you were growing up is about the least amount YOU will end up with.

If your family doesn't attend church you might end up that way or become intense the other direction.

But, I don't think anybody from a devout religious family ENDS UP being an atheist at the very last stage of life.

My family was reverent. They talked about god and Jesus and my grandmother was a Catholic who never went to church.

I only EVER went to church (sunday school) one time until attending Kingdom Hall with my best friend as a teen.

Today, I am reverent. Period.

I could never see myself becoming Atheist.

I don't think anybody anywhere actually KNOWS anything at all about god.

To me, God is simply as unknowable as humans are unknowable to ants or butterflies.

This whole website is a bit comical, really...everyone is against a people that they STILL give so much energy to...

And your point is?
