What's funny is I hate the Habs when they play the Bruins....
but if they knock them out of the playoffs.....

But Hockey...Damn they are good.
There was a time when I played all year round, over 80 games. I am a defenseman and my all time favorite player is Raymond Bourque. I will never forget when he raised the Stanley Cup over his head with the Avalanche. 25 years ago I played in an industrial league in Montreal and Bourque's brother played for one of the teams...he looked just like Ray but with a beer belly and he was too good for a beer league.
Same here, Mr. Freeze. Pens fan = hate Flyers. Not our year without Sid and Geno...but gotta like what the supporting cast showed. Caps so far are making the Pens effort against Tampa look even better.

I am a HUGE check that H-U-G-E Habs fan. The series with the much hated Bruins was all it was cracked up to be. Also, after living in DC for 11+ years, I became a big Caps fan. My problem is this: It is now May. We are JUST getting to the second round of the playoffs. The finale will not be until June. I am sorry, but as much of a hockey fan as I am, once this weather breaks a few ticks above +8c, I no longer want to sit on me arse inside watching anything. Especially now when we have temps hovering around +14 and the odd +20 days the LAST thing I want to do is waste what very little decentish weather we get here. The season needs to either start a few weeks earlier, or they need to knock a round off the playoffs. Then again, this is just all my opinion. Whatever happens, PLEASE oh PLEASE do not let Boston win the cup.

And your Bruin Comment...LOL A team that is still 28-0 on Powerplays for the playoffs ....I'd be amazed if they Won...it would be cool thou!!

Great night of hockey yesterday...Flyers and Wings both lose. AND the Capitals are out. Perfect. Love seeing Ovechkin and the Caps choke.
