Unlike most religious beliefs, the May 21st nonsense is falsifiable. See you on the 22nd.

Thanks for the link, LWT...
On May 21, "starting in the Pacific Rim at around the 6 p.m. local time hour, in each time zone, there will be a great earthquake, such as has never been in the history of the Earth," he says. The true Christian believers -- he hopes he's one of them -- will be "raptured": They'll fly upward to heaven....
So, does this mean that it will occur at 6PM for each successive time zone?
I'm thinking I should take some extra layers since outer space can get chilly if we're headed toward Pleiades. Since escape velocity is a constant and not depend on the mass of the projected body, do you think it would be okay if I pack a carry-on size bag of things I might need? Would a suitcase be too obvious?
I'll probably need to bring along snacks since it's a long trip.
^ LOL @ B the X!
One week to go ... long weekend, here it comes (for us Canadians, eh?).
I've crossed the dateline so I get an extra day on earth

Bring it on!!!!!!!!
This prophecy has spawned all kinds of add on predictions that have nothing to do with the rapture. Earthquakes, tsunamis, rare planetary alignments. People I know are telling me to get out of the state it is driving me nuts.
