Seriously, though, a little known piece of information is that Nathan Knorr was engaged to marry a sister at Bethel, and then he dropped her and married another gal instead. The dropped sister remained at Bethel, and I always wondered how this came about, and whether there was something going on so that it was better to leave things be as much as possible. Could this be the origin of your “Janette the Bethelite” story? I'm Just sayin.
