For 73 years I thought I was introverted. It was only this year that I was able to ask myself this question and once I did SO MUCH of my past became clear; I was able to see the "why" behind many events from my past.
This revelation was not received with much joy; quite the opposite, but from the moment I first began seeing it, it had the ring of truth.

Nathan hi mate. ADD for me in my self diagnosed opinion
Although when my son was diagnosed with Asperger's, for part of the day the team of pediatricians and psychologists took me aside and questioned me about my son. So many of the questions they asked rang true for me, also, much more so than for my son, in many cases.
However trauma responses to ACE (adverse childhood events) mimic autism and ADHD & some who know me think it's the former. Hard to unpack if you've had an abusive childhood.
