Some members of the board are aware that I have been having health problems. I didn't ask them to keep it secret and so am not sure if any other posters on this forum knew about it. For those of you who may care, here is my update:
After months of tests, my hematologist/oncologist told that I do not have leukemia. She told me my blood levels are back to near normal and the other tests have turned out fine although I have some sort of chemical marker in my blood showing inflammation somewhere in my body. That can explain the exhaustion and weight loss. I will go in for more tests at the end of April with my DO. I return to the hematologist in 6 weeks for further tests.
When I went to the hematologist Wednesday, I was a little nervous but mostly calm-- as I have been from the beginning of this ordeal. I decided if I was going to meet death I was going to meet him looking FABULOUS and so prettied myself up for the dr's appt. I am very happy that for now all seems to be well.
Oh, and thanks for listening.
