VIII, Think About It, Berengaria and LW, thank you for your well wishes.
I had excused my weight loss and fatigue to the stress of leaving my family and a good job, and saying goodbye to lively, large city for a small town seriously lacking in art and entertainment. I was surprised when my blood work indicated high white blood cells, elevated red blood cells, and high calcium levels.
I have always been aware of my own mortality. I've just always hoped the final breath would come later than sooner.

Y'all are such loving people.
I have a bacterial infection in my upper GI tract coupled with low potassium levels.
Both are responding to treatment.
Thanks to all.
I'm not ready to leave, either, Rob.
(((((((McD))))))).
I think of and pray for you constantly.
Love.

Hello Wasblind and RosePetal. I started a different regimen of chemo about three weeks ago. The cocktail consists of Cytoxan, Methotrexate, and Fluorouracil. The previous two regimens each caused additional health problems. I have to go in every week for six month to get the chemo treatment.
The regimen that I'm on now seems to be letting my hair grow back. I'm still pretty much bald! Maybe, it'll look like a buzz cut in another month!
Thanks for asking! ((hugs))

Robdar, Sylvia glad to hear that both of you got good news. Leukemia and Crohn's are no fun at all.
MsDucky, I hope the new chemo produces good news for you as well.
Best wishes to all.
