I am. I know some pretty sharp, critically minded people, and I am surprised they still are active Witnesses.

There were ones at Bethel that criticized much, and still there.
One elderly gal critcized the Judge as being terrible and insulting and resented being called "a bag of bones and a hank of hair by him" and yet died faithful to org.
Perplexing to me.

No, I'm not. My husband says time and again he can't believe that my mom is a JW, because she is just far too smart to ever be one. I keep telling him he'll never understand why, and not to waste time thinking about it.

Yes, one brother, he talks about sex ALL the time. I thought he would be df'd more than 20 years ago, but he is still the microphone handler in his congregation.
