I love mini coopers too. I just bought my new car but am already saving for the next one. LOL. I don't want a car payment on the next one, will pay cash, that is why I am saving NOW.
I have this pic hanging near my desk also this one;
as reminders of what my car savings account is really for. One of these will be my 50th birthday present to MYSELF. But maybe I can get hubby to chip in, he is the one who makes the big $$$ LOL
This one was my first - and of course, there is always a special place in one's heart for their first car. I bought mine for $25 and towed it home. I drove the crap out of that car - that slant six was one of the best and most bullet-proof motors ever made in Detroit.

Next was my first "cool" car...an 81 Monte Carlo with T-tops. I ended up selling that car when I got married the first time. Ended up in an Escort station wagon because it was more family and "service" friendly.
And, believe it or not, I really really love the little car I have now. This was the day I brought it home....

OMG, coondog, I love that little car. have seen a lot around here in Boston.
I live in Florida and, not only is it great on gas and a perfect second "around town" car, but it's also the least expensive convertible on the market. I love my little Smart car!

1978 Black Caddie Deville w/a scarlett interior.I LOVED that car,kept it shiny and clean.Never was able to find out how fast it would go,cuz they are very strict here,but I got it up to 90 w/out even realizing it.I LOVED it! Like a giant ocean liner..Next fav was my 97 Toyota Camry5 speed.40 mpg,and it'd run all day and night w/out any complaint.Kinda got bored w.it and sold it.Im looking at a 73 AMC Gremlin now...lol

I bought this '75 Mk1 Esky from a farmer who had seized the crank (no oil) with it's original metallic green paint, as my 16 yr old sons first car. We restored it top to bottom. He's now 23 and the car is long gone . . . but it left us with great memories. He's owned two Mk 2's since.
