Their idea of "righteous" is stupid. They are against stumbling anyone--even if your "sin" is to have about 25 ounces of investment silver, it can "stumble" someone else and would be banned for that reason. Also, anything that interferes with attending all the boasting sessions is not "righteous". How many witlesses have to work evenings and thus can't always be at all the boasting sessions? Yet, in this dismal work environment, the hounders aren't going to take "I am thankful I have a job at all" for an answer. You have to quit, so you can pio-sneer.
To compare, suppose one uses "not initiating force, threats of force, or fraud" or "doing what is good for oneself and society" as righteousness. Or, simply dumping the toilet paper dollars that are based on debt in favor of gold and silver (which will probably hold their value long after toilet papers are worthless). Some of those definitions are very simple, easy to uphold, and do not allow for others to make one make stupid sacrifices. Hey, I am not going to force you to buy silver or gold--or to create value. You alone will bear the consequences--if only the hounders in the congregations would be like that.
