A lot more porn in this one than episodes past.
I'm not complaining. Just an observation.

I tolerate it. Any HBO show seems better than regular cable. I wasn't engrossed in the first episode so I missed making a flow chart of characters, legends, positions, etc. Now I am only understanding 20% of the program.
Showtime just finished airing the Borgias with Jeremy Irons. I purchased Showtime just to watch the series. It was wonderful.

I love Game of Thrones. I must admit that my personal favorite of all the stories is with Daenarys. Also love the dwarf, of course.

I missed this thread the first time around.
The novels are some of the best fantasy to come around in many years. And the series is wildly entertaining.
I have to go download the latest episode now...

Love the show! Nothing like an HBO series.

Nickolas
First time I've had to disagree with you, Donny. I watched the first two episodes and found them to be, um, rather predictable and unoriginal, all the doggie-style sex notwithstanding. Same old wimpy/creepy/cowardly bad guys and heroic/strong/righteous good guys. And (spoiler alert) you just know what's going to happen with those dragon eggs sitting by the fire ...

It's in the reading Nickolas ......... the books are wonderful. They'll make you feel like a kid again back when we could become giddy with anticipation. I am making allowences for a few of the slower moving episodes. But some, when they take place in the north are very good.
Tec the Imp was one of the two strongest charactors in the books. Daenary's being the other......she comes into her own!

Suspending disbelief is sometimes difficult for me but on the strength of your recommendation, giordano, I will watch episode 3.
