JWs need a good explantion for, "what is the good news of Jehovah's Kingdom?" In my experience, JWs croak on that question when I press them for specific details from the Bible to prove what they say.

Great point Moshe!
Most JWs are converts and haven't a clue what our Kingdom message is......they always stumble around with no trinity, hellfire, immortality of soul and paradise.......
It would be very interesting if they ever did change the 'Kingdom Message' but I am sticking with the 2009 rumor of new light on KON....

I thought this was about the WTS. moving over to florescent lighting from incandescent, you know its
worthy for all organizations to be energy conscious and conservative these days.
Will see if they make an announcement on saving energy at this summer's District Assemblies.
An example of new light being designed by the WTS. its long lasting and takes little energy to make it work.
Not necessarily brighter than the old light but to new ones who haven't seen the old light, it appears both luminescent and omniscient.

nah yall all wrong ...all of the changes of late are merely to get from here to there (flashes) ....all under Jaracz....so I suggest this be the source of WTS light and expect a great many developed symposiums where it is flashed here and there showing signs of the end being nigh only for the WTS to highlight via pinpoint something else as 2015 become 2025:

Maybe the WTBTS will start an anti-virual meme to protect JWs from apostates, or maybe promote a new prophesy to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the 1914 prophesy and the generation which shall not pass. No matter what is said at the convention the WTBTS will be able to say later it was the R&F's fault for miss-interpreting what was said.

Sweety,
We ditched that teaching 3 changes ago (1995 -representation of wicked people, 2008-anointed only (recycling 1927 light), 2010-anointed overlap)
There have been 6 changes (and waffling about when a person was born either before or the year of 1914 in between)

How can you ditch a new prophesy which celebrates (or maybe commemorates is a better word) the 1914 prophesy? It seems like the WTBTS changes new light like I change my socks. Does the WTBTS constantly change the light so that the R&F will be too busy trying to lock-step into line instead of questioning why? The National Negro College Fund slogan many years ago seems very profound when applied to JWs, "A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste."

As far as your WTS questions....
How can you ditch a new prophesy which celebrates (or maybe commemorates is a better word) the 1914 prophesy?
A) Usually it is done in a WT study article or 'Questions From the Readers'
It seems like the WTBTS changes new light like I change my socks.
A) Actually the WTS takes about 2 years to really hammer out a 'noo-light' path and delivery. However with issues like Spain's taxation or Britains data laws things are done as soon as the WTS discerns the outcome as unchangeable....

A) Not really..... But during Franz's presidency Jaracz successfully initiated such and he is behind the present direction as well.......

I agree ..... I am old enough to remember and have comparison of 'then' and since the 80s clampdown.....dumbing down and blindfaith prevail at a shocking rate among converts (our largest demographic).....but it isn't so in the born/raised sector....63% identify as 'no longer jw' and of us remaining 37% growth in the 'conscious class' is sharply increasing......
