Is Microwave bad for your health?

Definitely. I call them "food poisoners". You put protein in the food poisoner, and the radio waves scramble the amino acids. The molecules are also messed up so they create compounds that didn't exist--more so than just heating the food would. Infra-red does not do this (that is common heat).

However, even worse is what goes into the food poisoners. If you have a TV dinner, take a look at the ingredients. Chances are good that you are going to find items like hydrolyzed vegetable protein (), autolyzed yeast, textured soy protein, soy protein isolate (as often as not, contaminated with hexane), and even good old fashioned monosodium glutamate. This stuff will ruin your brain, whether heated with a microwave or IR. Virtually everything that goes into the food poisoner has some form of hidden monosodium glutamate, high fructose corn syrup, or aspartame. Not to mention that it is loaded with bad fats (that become worse with the microwave radiation) and excess sodium. They are also deficient in vitamins (nuking them destroys what little vitamins they had) and minerals like magnesium.

Ya anything and everything could kill you. Give me a break. Sh!+ I used to drink water from a garden hose, still alive no diseases. Watched tv closer then 6ft away as a kid still have 20/20. I've done tons of things and am ok. I've sky dived and made it. Thank you jesus!

I agree with Jeckle... anything can be found to be dangerous for your health, if not used correctly.

    But don't run with scissors!!

    Two observations about microwave ovens:

    1. IF you put a bar of Ivory soap in for one minute on 'High" you will see something awesome and strangely beautiful.

    2. IF you jam toothpicks into the door latches you can turn on the oven with the door open and create all kinds of dangerous scenarios.

PS The programmed "popcorn" button on most microwaves is too short to pop all the popcorn. Set it for 4 minutes and listen for the popping to slow down. If you put unpopped popcorn in the palm of your hand with a dab of butter and then try #2 above you will be sorry.
