My Mom was a Audrey Hepburn look alike. She was from Europe had the same soft voice and accent as Audrey. She was tall and lythe like her and made her own beautiful clothes for next to nothing. I'd be so proud when she'd come to my school and the kids would ask me if she was a Model. People still refer to her as stunningly beautiful.
She played Piano and taught herself to play the Guitar and harp. She had the exact guitar shown in this video and I can still hear her playing the guitar and softly singing this song as we lay in our beds. We lost her at 57 years of age and hearing this song does me in...big time.

ex why zee, you just reminded me that I had always taken my parents for granted..then one day in grade school at parent teacher night a fellow classmate came up to me and said "Your mom is so beautiful and your dad is so handsome..I had never even thought about it before..I had to agree.. After that I looked at them with different eyes..

Thanks for all your input guys. With rare exceptions ((((((Blondie)))))), most of us treasure that one woman like no other. She may drive me nuts sometimes, she's made shockingly bad decisions at times and there's no pain so bad that she can't add a little bit of guilt and make it even worse - but she's still my Mum.
You will of course NEVER read this, but I love you Mum. Here's one more that reminds me of you . . . .
