I perceive some lack of purpose on this board. At present, bickering prevails (of course, if I do it, it is "loving rebuke" ). Perhaps this springs from a belief that what we (of the Swine Class, as defined in The Finished Mystery, a fine Watchtower publication from 1917) do here on the Internet has no real effect on the Crooklyn Borg.
Such a belief, however, is false.
We are hurting the Organization. Badly. REALLY BADLY. It is hard to see it, for a huge Organization has huge inertia.
I present below A LIST OF COUNTRIES ranked in decreasing order of the internet penetration therein. It has taken me some hours to accumulate and analyze this data. Penetration is defined by the ratio of the latest available figure for the number of internet user accounts or users in the country to the latest available figure for the population of the country. At the end, I present the sources I have used for the demographic information.
The first column contains either "DN", "NC" or "UP":
"DN" means that over the last year for which statistics are available, the number of Jehovah's Witness publishers has gone DOWN.
"NC" means there was NO CHANGE to the figure for jW publishers. To avoid doubt, I state that where the increase in publishers is tiny by reference to the country's population, it is classified as "NC", as is the case where no reliable figure is available.
"UP" means that the number of jW publishers went UP.
The following columns contain in order the country's name, its number of Internet users, its population and the ratio of the values of the last two columns for it.

Now, cast your eye down the first column. You do not need to look hard to see that the countries where the Internet penetration is high, which are at the top, are almost without exception seeing a fall in jW numbers. And those countries that are at the bottom, a rise.
The rank correlation between the two parameters, jW number rise/fall and Internet penetration, is extraordinarily high. IT CANNOT BE REASONABLY ATTRIBUTED TO MERE CHANCE. The odds against it being just the result of random distribution are many millions to one...
Note, however, that this evidence is associative and therefore does not prove a causative link. Some other parameter which is correlated well with internet-penetration might even be the actual "cause" - not that there is a single cause, in the case of something like this. But I have performed the same test with the obvious alternative parameter, Average Wealth*Earnings, in place of Internet Penetration, and the correlation is nowhere as strong.
Also, if you exclude those countries from the table where proselytizing is banned (e.g., some Islamic states) and carries a serious legal punishment as a deterrent, the correlation is even clearer to see (some of the "NC"s vanish from the middle of the table.
Further, the figures above for jW growth/drop rates are all based on the annual Change in Publishers.
Change in Publishers Rate = Baptism Rate for Outsiders plus Baptism Rate for the poor Kids less the Death Rate for jWs less Disfellowshipment/Disassociation/Going-Inactive Rate.
Now the Internet Penetration has no significant bearing on either the Death Rate or the Baptism Rate for the poor Kids (precocious ones excepted, whose net awareness gives them New Light on the Borg).
So if we redefined the measure of JW growth/fall to exclude those two quantities, we would arrive at a better measure. Unfortunately, data is scarce here. I have death rate data per country (probably strongly correlated with death rate of jWs in the same country), but not the split between Outsider baptisms and "Indoor" ones. DF/DA/Inact. rates are also not available for most countries, so I have two variables missing in the equation, and cannot compute the needed value. But it is reasonable to conclude that if we exclude from our measure things that we know are not Internet-correlated, the connection would be even stronger.
Therefore, I contend (without mathematical proof, but with much the very next best thing), therefore, that Internet access is a determining factor in beating back the Watchtower disease.
So:
1. as Internet access continually increases among poorer countries, as it inevitably will; and
2. as "OUR" OWN HUMBLE INTERNET-BASED "KINGDOM PREACHING" MINISTRY WORK INCREASES BOTH IN QUALITY AND IN QUANTITY;
then the Disgusting Watchtower will be truly doomed, in the long term.
In the meanwhile, the countries where jW membership is falling also happen to be the most Profitable and Lucrative ones for the Watchtower... as people there generally have more money. So there is a short-term payback too.
So, friends, we are NOT wasting our time. LOTS OF READILY AVAILABLE AND TRUTHFUL INFORMATION, AND TIME, IS ALL THAT IT TAKES TO DESTROY THIS HIDEOUS DISEASE THAT MASQUERADES AS A RELIGION.
The person being infected does not need to be the one accessing the Net. As long as he has one loved one or friend who does have access and who is either aware that the victim is being indoctrinated, or is merely curious about these strange people he/she is meeting, or the strange new conversations taking place, that will often suffice.
KNOWLEDGE IS WHAT KILLS THE WATCHTOWER CULT (eventually).

SOURCES OF DATA
My source of information for jW statistics is basically the Watchtower Blather & Trappem Sicksiety itself. It is never presented in a way that makes bad news too visible. For a well-produced, fair overview, visit:

Where the jW growth/drop data is available only in total for a region legally comprising more than one country, the change is assumed to be the same in all the parts.

I am confident I have made a few mistakes somewhere. I am far more confident that they have no bearing whatsoever on the conclusion.
I would appreciate this post being kept somewhere near the top of the board for a while, friends. Feel free to distribute the fruits of my labor freely and widely, without restriction.
In parting: I assure you that however much you may Hate the Watchtower, you do NOT Hate it more than I do. But I do not Hate it enough to lie about it (the odd joke about WT Bans on Pussies excepted).
I leave Theocratic War Strategy and such Filthy, Disgusting, God-Dishonoring, Spiritually-Pedophilic Practices to The True Swine Class, which is the Governing Body of the Jehovah's Witnesses and the self-serving Wolf Class that carries out their odious, family-destroying, happiness-stifling, kid-killing commands.
