In my defense, I didn't totally miss your point, I just don't see your point. Yes, the examples I gave do have benefits, unlike the ones given by Janh. However, is there a benefit to the placement of our larynx? Would there be enough sound resonance if it were placed somewhere else? I don't know. So I believe your question is.."Why did God create imperfect humans and animals"...well, in short..I believe sin permanatly altered not only man, but natural law as well. So, you must believe in sin to understand where I am coming from, if you don't, then no arguement, uneven ground. Don't get me wrong, I believe in questioning EVERYTHING, from why humans have a tail bone to why only men have hairy asses. But personally, I don't question God's existence because I am not sure about certain parts of the human structure. Just food for thought, but watch out..don't choke.

    Greetings Badboy,
As with many of the Almighty Jehovahs
creation, we are not given the answer. And
thus we could only speculate. You should know
however that Jehovah is all knowing and
he certainly had a reason for our human design.
What that design is..we man not know..

A more important question is for mozze

    mozzer..

When will stephen patrick finally acknowledge
that J. Marr was 51% of the genius behind the band

i think those are some good questions mozzer. the part about sin altering law gets me thinking. this is something i had a lot of trouble with. i always understood imperfection to be a natural consequence of sin, not something that god sort of injected into us as a punishment. of course, it gets tricky to distinguish between what is natural and what is an act of god, or between what god causes and what he allows to happen. but i would have a big problem with finding out that when Original Sin took place and god had to decide what to do, he sat down and invented a whole bunch of horrible diseases to unleash on our poor ancestors, or that he took the Human blueprints back out of the file drawer and started thinking of things to mess with to make our lives worse. so any explanation of sin and imperfection has to address issues of disease, biological imperfections such as mentioned in this thread, and also the overwhelming simliarity between man and animal. after a lot of research, i found that biological evolution provides a much more consistent and plausible explanation of these items than theology.

thats just an overview of my thoughts on this. if you want to pursue that, or think you have an especially insightful theory on sin and imperfection, lets talk.
