Coco and Ziddina, be sure to grind it up to get the benefits from it. Even if you take blood pressure meds or cholesterol lowering meds, flax can help you a lot.
Does anyone else keep theirs in the fridge?

The kind I buy, I get at Costco. It's the Nature's Path brand. It's called Organic Flax Plus and it's fine milled organic golden flaxseed. They use a patented seed selection process, which gives it a shelf life of up to two years. The information I received from the company when I did an event on it was that it needn't be stored in the fridge. I don't think it would hurt it if do though.
I eat two tbsps per day in yogurt with craisins or bananas.
Fine milled means ground for you already.

Glad to hear you went to get all those tests. We gotta know that our beloved CoCo is on the mend!

CoCo, get to a doctor and have this evaluated. Lots of love to you.
Edited: I wrote this in a bit of a panic after I read your opening post. I'm now getting caught up on what others wrote, and I see you had tests done. Thank goodness!
Yikes! I just read what your blood pressure was. Frightening! WAAAAAAAAY too high. Get that under control ASAP. We love you too much to lose you.
Just wanted to tell you that I'm thinking of you, CoCo! So glad you went to the doctor.
Lots of love,
Tammy
Thank you, my dear friends, for your continued support. !
Despite my very healthy diet, I learned that medicine is sometimes necessary. I wasn't aware till a day ago that one of my parents had had high blood pressure. How did I miss that?
When the fog clears around my head I may write again. The doing of simple tasks takes analyzing and going step by step. No more slap dash.
Love CoCo, and be assured I read and appreciate all your replies though I cannot always answer each one individually.
loving healing energy being sent your way. you are a breath of fresh air on the board
I know it is trite, but take it one day at a time. It takes time to heal.

Thank you so much, dear Violia! !
Never trite!
I'm trying to be patient as I contemplate what could have happened had I not gotten the meds when I did. I am not a pill taker!
Love and gratitude,
CoCo
