Read this on a faithful rubadub's facebook page today:

Finally got the new Watchtower and Awake! magazines. The Awake! had a great article on social networking - neither condemning nor condoning it, but saying to use discretion if you do use it. Faithful and discreet slave always knows what they're talking about! :D

The GB have been condemning it for a long time,,have they seen they have lost their battle anyway,,they have finally seen they are powerless on it?,,so now do they want credit for it existence and JWs are giving this appreciation for it. The August Awake did open up on it with caution words. The GB are powerless and are finding they can't control at least the JW youth on this. But probably the youth parents realize they can't control this communication outlet at all either.

They don't condem or condone it b/c they know they know it would be "going too far" if they did condem it. Then memebers would REALLY wonder WHY they did. The GB sound paranoid enough in many of the newer Study Articles. "Loyalty" is always mentioned in conjunction with them (GB).
