Is this about the Dalton Trumbo book about a soldier in WWI.
It was a book originally. Trumbo himself made it into a movie in the 70's, after years of having been blacklisted for communism.

Band on the Run
The film just can't be as good as the book b/c it is about a internal mental awakening. I sing the praises of the book. LIght summer reading it is not. It is relatively short. Read the book and it will affect you for the rest of your life. I read it b/c of the Viet Nam war. People went back to pacifist and antiwar writings of previous generations. Trumbo was a genius.
If more people read this book, war would cease to exist. I read all the major antiwar books. This surpassed all of them.
