I don't know how you guys are doing it... the people they interview on tv are all shell-shocked. To never know when the next shake will come, yet knowing that it will come.
(((((hugs))))) to all of you. It's all I can do from here, I guess.

The people I feel most for are those who have deep-rooted ties to the city. People with hefty mortgages, small businesses etc. Another group finding it hard are the retirees . . . all is invested in their current home and income is fixed.
About 70% of the Real Estate industry has evaporated without a trace. Older folk are having to face the choice of taking a big financial hit and going through the stress of a move . . . or staying in a crumbling city . . . I feel really bad for them.
We are very fortunate by comparison.

Best to you, size. I was in a big one in Calif. years backâvery scary, including the aftershocks. That liquification is terrible!
Cheers, mate!

Sizemilk, I didn't realize you were in such a dangerous situation. So sorry to hear you and your townspeople are going through this hell.
I hope you stay safe, and hope things settle down down there.
Hubert
P.S. You have a P.M.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. We've had a few heavy shakes again today with more damage (see the drum on prev page - it updates automatically). Things are a bit hectic right now.
Thanks for the PM hubert . . . will reply shortly
