ID should not be taught in schools because it's not science. The only leg ID has to stand on is complexity, which does not automatically prove a designer. Read up on the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District case if you want to see how poorly ID fairs when scrutinized in a courtroom setting.

In a discussion with some evangelicals they brought up such jewels of belief that Kennedy was shot because he would not become a Mason, Russell was a Freemason and founded the JWs, Masons cut themselves in their rituals etc.. Education, in this country is slipping or stagnant in many categories.
