  During today's Witchtower Study there was so much wisdom

  coming forth from the conductor and those in attendance that

  I could only say to myself "can't they hear what they are saying?"

  Of course the Faithful Slave is begining to demonize the internet.

  The conductor said that 80% of all web sites are pornagraphic

  and that for this reason many Witlesses are deciding not to have

  the internet in their homes.

  Another brother said that you can be on a safe web page and

  then all of a sudden a pornagraphic web page just pops up.

  Then someone chimmed in "that once you see that pornagraphic

  picture it is burned into your brain and it could lead you to commit

  fornication or adultry.

  Is their faith so weak that if they see a naked girl that they have

  to go and have sex with the next available partner? You would

  think that being a true Christian that you would manifest the fruitage

  of the spirit one of which is self control.

  I am on the internet all day long and I have never had a pornagraphic

  web page pop up. You have to go after it if you want it.

  It is just so said to see how brain dead they are.

  What you said here speaks volumes. Pornography doesn't just pop up, on top of that any questionable emails that one recieves are the result of being on questionable sites that they shouldn't have been on in the first place.

  By the way, when he said 80% of websites are pornographic, was he just being illustrative, or was he dead serious as if there's some merit to that statistic?

  Its just another way to persuade JWS to not go on the inter-net and find out what a corrupt scam the Watchtower Publishing Corporation is.

  Sure its wise to take caution with children and their access to the inter-net and responsible parents are doing just that.

  It doesn't take a JW idiot to know and realize that.

  Like every bit of information given at the Kingdom Hall podium people will nodding their heads up and down in agreement.

  There has to be some JW's that know that this is a big fat LIE. don't you think? Internet 12 yrs here, never one porn pop up. Don't you have to pay money for the real porn ? I wouldn't think they do it for free.......maybe just a little tittie teaser ........but the real stuff....can you get that for free ?

  I used to listen to the same sort of crap at meetings and wonder, "Do people really believe this stuff, or are they just trying to sound more righteous than the previous speaker?"

  Wherever JWs gather -- at Kingdom Halls, conventions and at Bethels, invisible intellectual bubbles form. Whatever goes on in the outside world just has no impact on them. If they say it's so .... it's so. It's an imaginary, make-believe world that forms every time they gather, filled with talk about angelic direction, threats of demons, dangers of apostates, promises of a new system .... a make-believe world. And they all go along with the pretence.
