I too was beaten severely by my father for many years for many things similar to your experience. I remember clearly occasions where I was dragged out of the Kingdum Hall and assemeblies to be beaten... I remember the hurt and embarresment that accompanied that! So I send you all my love and can tell you that my relationship with my father is non existant as a DIRECT result of the years of abuse... he had the WT to hide behind as he was simply not "sparing the rod"!!

I was a lucky one as a Jdud kid, my parents were strict, but loving. You post reminds me of the recient Jdud family in Chicago that killed their daughter during a spanking ritual, over some stupid lost item. Sick people.

My parents got divorced when I was five, partially because of the truth. For years I felt very sad that my father was never around to do the "father thing." Maybe I was lucky.
