Sorry to butt in here, but why Haddock as opposed to, say, Cod or a nice bit of Halibut?

    Englishman,

Thank you for including me on your phone list. You could email me and we can exchange phone numbers. First, I need to check with my phone company on international rates, and see if I can get on some kind of special plan.

Anyone else who wants to email me regarding phone numbers, feel free.

I have met the following people in person: JAVA, Outaservice, SunChild, Norm, Ginny, Bill Bowen, his wife and daughter, and Ros. I have talked to Kent, AlanF and Farkel on the phone. One thing I found that all these people have in common: they are all nice, mild mannered, polite people.

    Larc,

As I recall, international phone calls can be inexpensive, it all depends on the time of day when you make the call.

Anyone who wants to conversate can just start a voice conversation through MSN Messenger-yeah, I know, I thought it would suck, too, but I had a conversation with someone on dial-up (Im on cable), and it worked pretty nice.

There are so many here I'd like to meet, I'm scared to mention them as I don't want to forget anyone.

I'd like to meet Larc, Amazing, and Hillary Step. They all have great insights and a lot of knowledge and wisdom. All gentleman with good hearts, intentions and a soft spot for the occasional dirty joke. But Larc's innocent gasp isn't fooling me. Yes, you old curmudgeon I'm talking about you!

I'd love to meet Tina, Esmerelda (I miss you!), safe4kids and GoldDustWoman. All because I respect their strength in adversity and the kindness they've shown me many times.

I'd like to meet PeaceLoveHarmony, Joelbear, VeniceIT and BitterMango. For their love affair with Life and see what I can learn from them.

    I know I'm forgetting others...please don't be upset!

I've had the honor of meeting:

COMF - a true gentleman with kind eyes that hold a wicked glint of humor. You can see his wheels turning as he respectfully listens and absorbs what you say. I love this guy!

Megadude - another gentleman that loves life and has great insight into people's behaviors and thoughts. He hasn't fully discovered his capacity to love or the level of good he brings to this world, but I think he's on his way.

Xena - prettier than her pictures give her credit. Fun-loving, a bit on the shy side when you first meet her, but very kind and sweet and completely nonjudgemental. And a big streak of orneryness!

Tyydyy - a total cutey! A bit of a cross between Kevin Spacey and Russell Crowe. A sly sense of humor and a constant look of "what can I get into now" on his face. Quick to smile, but if he were any more laid back he'd be dead!

Valis - Colorful! Intelligent and curious and unabashed. I'll never forget how he shared his nipple piercings at peak dinner time at a nice restaurant for our first Dallas Aposafestivus. Haha! Hilarious! You should have seen the diners at the next table.

SixofNine - A bit on the serious side, but has a soft side he's not too willing to share. I know it's there since I can see it in his pretty brown eyes. Hungry for knowledge, opinionated and strong-willed. Still searching for truth.

    Am I forgetting anyone else???

    Andi
