I feel that this fervor will only increase as new archaeological discoveries continue (so far) to confirm many biblical referenced personages and events that continue to be affirmed, for the most part.
Interesting hypothesis. So, if bible true = more war. I could say conversely: if bible false = toward peace. The old testement is at the root of the fratricide (jews and arabs are brothers, recently shown by dna comparisons).

""Arguably, the Arabs and the Israelis deserve each other. Perhaps we should just build a wall around the whole area, supply both sides with weapons, and let them sort out the final resolution between themselves. Who knows, perhaps the last 10 survivors on each side would finally agree that they should try a peaceful solutions?""

If I could give out an award for the "Thought of the Day" relating to this issue, JanH would win, hands down..............

SS: Bible land or not, man has caused wars......."God made me do it" has about as much logic as "the Devil made me do it."

In the end, it is what man allows man to do to man that is to blame.

Who has the moral high road to dispense a "brand" of what is "right or wrong?" Really, is a benevolent Higher Power our only way out of this mess?........Is there one? Or another way to peace????
