I was always very timid at the door. You, Donny, would have been my worst nightmare. Like Aussie pointed out, you deviated from the script. As long as it was a textbook encounter, I was fine. The minute a householder came back with anything other than what I saw on the platform, my reply was, "I didn't get up at 6:00, shower, put on a suit and come out here to be preached at or argued with. I came looking for people who want to hear what I have to say."

One time I was working with an old spit-fire pioneer sister, it was my door, and the man wanted to save me. I recited the above and started walking away. I think I may have left the old sister standing there wondering what she should do but then I heard her footfalls come right up behind me. The man yelled out, "Don't you want to know how the bible can save you?"

    "NOPE!"

I find it rather arrogant on their part that you were told your aunt 'must be NEW in the truth' just because they have no idea of their own doctrines.

Just shows me they go out on the 'ministry' so that they can 'qualify' for life eternal (with a pet panda), and so they won't be judged harshly by the over sneers. They put their 'standing in the congregation' in first place over doctrine. Group dynamics!

To be told the Bible is more important is just fogging the issue. Sadly, their idea of the Bible's teachings is as per the commands of 7 paed-protectors in Crooklyn.

They started to walk away as their 'apostate' radar started spinning.

Ahh as expected by me and some of you here, no one showed. No one came to "correct" my misunderstandings and let me know what the "truth was." I waited Saturday and Sunday and no one came.

Maybe Jehovah has already assigned me to the goat pen.
