In fantasy land, the WTS obeyed the segregation laws in the WTS with the excused that it did not interfere with the preaching work...why not shunning.

So then, seeing as they would simply say ''we dont shun'', shows that the consequences and expectation to do so 'privatly' is a rule of men and not of god. Thus not worth them facing down in court.

possible back firing amunition for use with relatives that seek to shun you?

If there was a financial penalty for not complying, they would stop it.

It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$ with the WBTS.

It would equivelent to associating with a worldly person...something Jehovah's Witnesses "just don't do."

Slander is already illegal in the Snited States and that's what the law should go after, not shunning since it would be impossible.
