Nope ... they are sneaky, deceivers, they don't have a conscience as everything bad they do they blame Satan for it ... so they may steal, lie, slander, and say "Jehovah understands"
NO --- BEEN THERE/DONE THAT. NEVER AGAIN!!! they don't know right from wrong re/work ethics and honesty. all they know is how to be on stage at the hall in front of the clergy class and the power clique. they can rave on about them being good workers as much as they want to --- it's not true. some of the biggest crooks/manipulators i've ever encountered --- elders, included. there are, of course, exceptions.
W/TOWER should really preach about honesty, integrity and responsibility --- but it's not their priority in that religion to have honest people/just magazine reps.
I have some at my company. They're a pain in the ass. They never want to work overtime IE Saturday. And they really aren't dedicated to the company. I use to have a truck driver and we couldn't get him to make late deliveries on his meeting nights. They're more trouble then their worth.
Nope, sorry. I've not only worked with J-dubs, I've worked for them which was even worse. They can be just as nasty as any "wordly" person, believe me.
I don't need any horrible reminders of my bad past, thank you. I don't want anything more to do with them than they want to do with me.
No, he or she would not hire me.
If we're talking about a believer and not an undercover JW
I wouldn't hire one nor would I give one any of my business. Why support an individual that would shun you outside of work? It just doesn't make sense to give an extra penny in their pocket.
I would have three main concerns:
1. Quendi's issue -- not preaching / placing literature on the job. If they considered that restriction to be persecution or something to circumvent for the sake of Jehovah and the kingdom, I would ask them to look for a different job.
2. Confidentiality. I have heard of a JW nurse disclosing to the elders confidential information about a JW patient's STD. If they would feel it their duty to violate confidentiality in certain situations, I would ask them to look for a different job.
3. Treatment of DFd or DAd JWs. If I had customers or clients or business associates who were DFd or DAd dubs, I would require the JW employee to set that aside when dealing with them on the job. If they couldn't do that.... thanks, but no thanks.
I would be careful because many of them would sabotage the business by applying for a position that they know they have to do something "against their religion", refuse to do it, and then sue because I "made them do something knowing it was against my religion". This would be more of a problem in Europe and the United Tyranny of Stupidity (formerly the United States of America). Additionally, I don't like that they waste huge amounts of time discussing theocraptic things when they are supposed to be working.
If it was just one, working alone and not "very strong" in the cancer, fine--as long as they didn't try to get positions that inherently dictate that they do something "against our religion". But I would not hire groups of them because they would waste too much time discussing the next boasting session--and who would be the one to set up the "sun worship" tree?
Would you give a peodophile a job in a nursery?... No nor would I . Although JWs are nice people they hag their cross on the wrong tree and would make for ridicule and open to persecution because of their bleetiefs. Wouldn't work in my workshop...they would get hurt by their own ignorance other how other worldly folk feel about them
