James_woods. You are right!, your argument is consistent with point 23.
Which arguments for or against God are convincing to you?

How many minutes to wait before I might say "are you ignoring me?".
Are straw men allowed?

Most of those against God are pretty bad and I would have to go with James:
For most doubters, this is the one:
God has NEVER openly appeared to humankind in general.
I would probably even go with "If God wanted me to believ ein Him, He would appear to me".

I'm not going to post unless you answer me. Then I might.
Ontological too many words!! But I get the drift.

THE GLADIATOR
I did once meet an all powerful being who had complete control over my life and acted as though he was entitled to a share of everything I had or was about to acquire. I knelt to worship this great god but he told me to stand up and write out a cheque or check as you yanks say. He turned out to be the a tax man!

N.drew - Hope all is well?
The total absence of anything remotely answering to anyone's description of any god is pretty compelling, but the logical impossibility of anything having the necessary ontological status and/or moral authority is the clincher.

You know me?
Nobody can say anything better than that!
I love big words.

Good party!
