No Room For George
Multiply that picture by the thousands, if not millions, myself included. Children do whatever it takes to get rewarded and gain the approval of their parents. Children and teenagers are pressured to eventually do this, never mind Jesus didn't get baptized until roughly 30 years of age.
The crazy thing is, eventially these children become young adults, full fledged adults by many people's standards at age 18. If they choose not to "Serve Jehovah", this is what happens to them, below. In some cases, this happens even before they hit age 18. The bad part is the picture below makes it seem like the kid left because thats what he wanted to do. The reality is, in most cases, in most cases the parents actually gave the teen an ulimatum and when the kid didn't ackquiesce, they kicked the unprepared and grossly sheltered young adult out of the house with resources on par with the homeless or poverty stricken. Like clockwork the kid is forced to come back with his tail between his legs in a perverted version of the Prodigal Son.

It is captioned "The most famous JW Child 2011. ;-) He literally went viral in hours Worldwide....."

It creeps me out, people pimping a child out like that. Reminds me of those JonBenet Ramsey pics from 15 years ago, dressing babies up as adults and parading them in public.

JWs don't have the market cornered on stolen childhoods.
