In the old testament, can you think of any conceivable reason that an all knowing all powerful god might logically select one small desert tribe in the desert to be his "chosen" people, and leave all the other races of the world out? Isn't that a bit racist? I mean, he did not choose Chinese people, or African people, he specifically chose the Jews, and at least as far as I've seen in the narrative, he pretty much lets them treat everyone else however they like.
That is of course assuming that the narrative actually a factual recording of the will of an all powerful being, which I find quite a bit more than questionable.
Why would God be racist?

Well just look at the governing body. Jehovah apparently chose a few white men in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to be his "chosen" people for dispensing Truth. Most of the so-called "anointed" who profess to be of the heavenly hope are from what race? Raymond Franz, his father, and his mother all professed to be of that class. Does Jah(from the JW religion) favor white people? Sure seems like it. He may have thrown an African-American in there so as not to appear racist. Who knows. lol.
Nearly all depictions of biblical characters are nearly all white people, except slaves. But I don't believe he'sracist. I think He knows what he's doing....hopefully.

So, if He choose the Chinese He wouldn't be a racist?

"Jewish" is hardly a race. They're middle-eastern and indistinguishable from people of other nations in the area. The Jews were simply descendants of Abraham. They weren't a race, so much as a family.

Humans are a race.
So if the Hebrew desert god chose sacrifice animals and bless humans he must be a racist.

Interesting post and segway to Jews in particular. It has me thinking of a question that I heard a couple of weeks ago. I never thought of this question before it was asked, but since it was asked, I have been struggling with the reality of the answer.
Question- Is the racism [anti-semitism] against the Jews from a supernatural source?
Before you flippantly dismiss the notion that it is a possiblity, find in history anywhere a circumstance of racism that has lasted thousands of years in thousands of different lands. I know of only one race [or religion]. Discuss if interested.
