What is the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?

Excellente, all around, dear CB (the greatest of love and peace to you... Ali... and your households!). Praise JAH for that doctor, too! It really is too bad that the "color" of justice... AND health... is sometimes "green" - doctors such as him are a blessing and I am glad that she got him when she DID have insurance!

This all very good news, and I can't wait to tell my husband tomorrow morning, (he's already asleep)! He gets very choked up everytimeI tell him about one of Ali's setbacks, because he knows exactly how she feels.

And also Medicaid pays the medical provider directly at a rate determined by the state which is generally less than the private pay rate. Some doctors and dentists will not accept Medicaid patients for this reason.
