Think About It
The Local governments should figure out when the debris will arrive and set the JW's up for some beach side places to hold assemblies at for a discount. That way they get it cleaned up for free and the JW's are actually doing a good public service.

You know over the last 20 years I was a JW I use to bring up ideas like joining the Adopt A Highway program and other clean-up projects and it always got the same look

I was very impressed how the government and communities in Hawaii always kept their beaches clean, even after the debris brought in by a major storm. Hopefully the West coast of the U.S. will keep their coasts just as clean. Ha Ha.

I was impressed this past Saturday at the number of young people who showed up for our Beach Cleanup in San Diego, Ca.. A couple of Bus-loads of High Schoolers did themselves proud.

Think About It
You would think the WTS would come up with some kind of inventive way for the JW youth to get their FS time in and still accomplish something worthwhile. JW youth would probably be more likely to do some cleanup work wearing a tee shirt that identified them as JW's, rather than trudge out in FS if the clean up time counted on their FS report. Would probably make a better impression on people. Anyone that stopped to compliment them could be witnessed to. If the cult is going to continue at least they can do some good instead of their ministry being such a waste of time.
