I like the one where the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was real, but the Tree of Life is allegorical.
I also like how Jesus was obviously talking to partakers of the wine and bread in John 6, but they apply "No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him" to every JW (the vast majority of whom don't partake in communion). It makes the ghetto/trailer/barrio trash feel special to believe their uneducated, stupid, broke, loser asses were hand-picked by the Almighty.

The weirdest is that God communicates directly to a bunch of old men in New York. All other weird beliefs are a ripple effect of that one.

How about the belief that demons are after you all the time?
And that you shouldnt' buy things at garage sales because there might be "demons" attached to whatever object.
