OTWO - You know the answer to that question by now. His 'brother' didn't ask the Lord. His brother is listening instead to other men, and what they have to say about God and His Son.
Peace,
Tammy

To the Self-Proclaimed Window Washing G.E.D. Dummy who wrote:
"Why couldn't your Lord just speak to your brother to let him know He is there and that there are answers to his questions? Your Lord could have directed your brother directly to look up the words. And then your Lord could remind him to feed his dog and mail his letters."
I think Tec answered your above question quite nicely. In addition to what Tec said, however, my Lord could have, and may even have done so. My brother, however, perhaps was not in a place to "hear" Him just yet. That's a possibility. But maybe the "Dummy" that you are is unable to grasp it. No, my Lord, in all likelihood would NOT have directed my brother to feed his dog or mail his letters. Why? Because he has only cats and does not write letters.
But what do you want from a "G.E.D. Dummy"? Really?

LOL!
You are right, Inkie. We live in different dimensions. This forum is a monument of religious tolerance, so I will back off in respect to it's spirit. At least that is a true spirit.
Vanderhoven7, there are dozens of strange thoughts that travel inside our minds when we are not fully concentrated on a certain activity. For example, just the thought of having a woman teacher would raise the following storm in my brain (if being put in the same situation):
-Wow, we read about voodoo.
-Me, reading about voodoo.
-And the teacher has nice boobs.
-She has nice legs too.
-I wonder how many people inside this room like reading about voodoo.
-A few centuries ago we would have burned on the stake for this nice lecture.
-She plays with her hair, so she must like the subject.
-Hmm, I can see on their faces who are interested and who are not.
-What if the teacher would be a voodoo shaman? That would be fun.
-She certainly likes the reading...
-I remember the last porn movie about witches and stuff...
-She must be a witch, I'm certain.
-If opportunity rises, I will bring the subject to her, ask her in some way.
-What do you know, she is a witch indeed!!! Thanks, Satan.
You see, it just seems that a strange force feeds us this information, but in fact it's our ability to read people's non-verbal language. I could very well pretend that Satan told me that she was a witch, following my own line of thought. But in fact it would be just my own logic playing with the small evidence and building up speculations.
I wonder why the Christians on forum are so much more friendly, personable, and kind than the non-christians. Does anybody know?
It's just a facade, it will wear off once you start asking for evidence about the existence of their God. And for Christ's sake, don't mention about dinosaurs and the Deluge!
DUr: I don't know about others necessarily but you can ask as many questions as it pleases you to ask of me without me ever becoming unkind or disrespectful. I, for one, have absolutely no problem in being asked honest questions by anyone. What does irk me is the disrespectful, unkind, speech often exhibited on this board, simply because we may differ in understanding, thinking, or belief. There is one here on this board that irks the you-know-what out of me simply because he has shown himself to be condscending, rude, disrespectful, arrogant, pompous, supercilious, mean, biting, blasphemous, etc., etc., etc. I don't like him. Simply put. Could that change? Sure. Is it likely? Only Jah and His Son know. I'm not going to hold my breath though.
