Ha ha it looks like this KM article might backfire somewhat.

While sending in study or literature requests for other people is a clever prank, the dirtiest trick in the book is sending a letter to the branch complaining about something... and signing and using another publisher's... or elder's name, and their return address.

    In a word: PRICELESS!

That reminds me Billy about the recent thread on Bethel not being able to answer all letters. They are certainly making themselves less approachable.

"Neither the branch office nor world headquarters is in a position to analyze and answer all such questions that have not been considered in our literature."

That' a very good point Listener. I had forgotten about that WT article and it just came out in the last month or two. It does make me wonder if the two articles have any ties. Are they really get that short staffed?

Maybe this religion is truly starting to crumble. No more Gilead but the way they tried to pass it off like it is just a wonderful thing. Really? All they have to replace it is Bible school for Christian Couples. It is only a two month course much less then the five months of Gilead and a lot cheaper to run I am sure. The age limit is way different also as the Bible school for Christian Couples is from the ages of 25 to 50 years where as Gilead was only 21 through 38 years old.

The way it seems is that they are trying to tap into the older ones more. The ones who have worked their lives and are now looking at retirement. But really will that work. I mean I am in my late 40's I have given my youth, 20's, 30's and half of my 40 to this cult. NO MORE. I am sure I am not alone in my thinking.

The getting rid of Gilead was so sudden also. Here it was in the October KM and Bethel had to send out a letter to be read when the part was to be considered saying that only a very limited number could now apply to Gilead. Only CO's and Bethel family members were the two I caught. Like Gayle said it is really only going to be train ones to take care of problems it is not to go to foreign country's anymore nor is the Bible Shcool for Christian couples, so the JW's are not sending people aboard anymore, so I guess those country's where the preaching work is not well known are not going to get any more help?

Things are a changing for sure.
