Howdy,
A couple of years ago, someone posted that the WTBTS had 53 lawyers at Bethel. For what it's worth - that's the number they bandied around.
To be taken into account - normally, where there are lawyers, there are paralegals - which do an incredible amount of work for lawyers.
I've known several attorneys in different states who do the WTBTS beckoning, but work in their own offices. As for pay? I don't know.
It's also been brought up in several threads that the WTBTS handpicks some young men at Bethel to have their college & law school paid for by the WTBTS - in return for 5 (?) years of servitude to the WTBTS. Then they can leave and start their own lucrative life.
Any confirmation of the above?
Interesting topic - as lawyers make the spin.
