It was science that debunked Piltdown man.

WHOA... wait a minute, dear folks (peace to you all!)!
you accept that the earth was created
Yes, dear Q (again, peace to you!)...
that the creation period was not a geologically large time period and the creation date was geologically recent.
Whoa... where in the WORLD did you get THAT?? I absolutely do believe it was a "geologically large" time period and I do NOT believe the creation date was "geologically recent." Who said that?? I have, however, receive a bit of a different understanding that either "science" or creationists currently have on this, which would actually show both to be somewhat correct and actually not in great opposition of one another. I don't feel like fielding the usual "ridicule" right now, though, so the details will have to wait for another time. But I believe it would give YOU valid reason to pause and think...
This was dishonesty, and was exposed, but it does not negate science.
Whoa, again! IT WAS dishonesty (which, what, doesn't occur among those involved in science?), dear NC (the greatest of love and peace to you, dear one!). I never said otherwise. I never even addressed the "science" of the matter, but ONLY the dishonesty. Where/how, then, did I indicate a negation in SCIENCE... or even try to indicate such... in my response?
Ummmmm... peace!
A slave of Christ,
SA, shaking head and trying not to think "WTFrick"...
Shelby you have explained on a previous thread that you basically accept evolution apart from where it applies to modern humans.
You are up against overwhelming evidence to the contrary but if you keep refusing to read the literature you can continue to pretend there is room for doubt.
Damascus, Syria 10,000 BC.

Yes, dear Cofty (peace to you!)...

How so, dear one? I have no concerns that the jawbone is human... actually homo sapiens. Not sure how that creates doubt as to human evolution. It's still human, still homo sapiens... and not some other species or genus "linking" humans/homo sapiens to any other species/genus (you know, to support human evolution).
So, I must ask: what "overwhelming evidence to the contrary" regarding what I've shared about [the lack of] human evolution... is related to THIS find?
Again, peace to you!
YOUR servant (always) and a slave of Christ,
SA, who wonders if, since you haven't responded (yet) to my last question to you ("What did God say to you when He spoke to you?"), you will perhaps you condescend to respond to this one...
I realize that some of you don't see or think as I do, but there's a WHOLE lot that brings up questions for ME in the article (may you all have peace!). I actually started to list them... and then my computer "glitched" and now I'm too... "mad" to retype it right now. Maybe tomorrow. In the meantime, please... re-read it... and see if YOU can see what I mean.
Again, peace to you all!
A slave of Christ,

‘ But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female ’ ( Mark 10:6 ).
In these words of Jesus we find He teaches that Adam and Eve were created in ‘ the beginning of the creation ’—not billions of years later.
I'm not sure why I never caught this while in the organization. I think most JW's believe (as I did) that the earth could be billions of years old but only man is ~ 6000 years old.
Those darn pesky scientists! They are ruining everything!
