    If Adam had not sinned

none of us would have ever been born.

Why would that have been the case, Joel?

Why not simply remove the "tree of life"?

    Yadirf,

If Adam had not sinned, history would have taken a totally different course and the circumstances coming to our births would have never occurred. The earth would be filled with an alternate set of humans.

For instance, my parents met at Spence Field in Moultrie Georgia during WWII where they built and repaired planes for the war. If it hadn't been for Adolph Hitler I would have never been born.

    Take care

    Joel

If it hadn't been for Adolph Hitler I would have never been born.
So ... you have Adolph Hitler to thank for your being here? Heil Hitler!

So ... you're here purely by accident -- being that you say that if Adam hadn't sinned then you'd never have been born because your father would've never met your mother so as to copulate and produce a son named Joel.

So ... you're life is rather insignificant, since you're here by sheer coincidence.

So ... of all Adam's children to date, not a single one of them would have ever experienced life had Adam done the right and good thing by obeying God.

So ... it's good to obey God, but also good to disobey him since to disobey him results in good things -- such as making possible the birth of people who otherwise would've never experinced life.

So ... "sin" results in good, a blessing rather than a curse. (BTW, wasn't that what Satan suggested to Eve?)

So ... the result of Adam's refusal to do good resulted in good -- which of course is contradictory.

So ... something must be wrong with your answer to my question.

    You "take care" too, Joel.

    Yadirf,

Just because something happens by coincidence does not make it insignificant.

Penacillin(sp?) was discovered by coincidence and yet it was very significant in its purpose(to humans).

Good and bad need each other.

The existance of a God is a real coincidence. -om

    You are stupid Friday...

    Joel has a point...
If Adam and Eve had not sinned, the earh
would have been filled with their children
    years ago..

The thought of you not being born.. now that would be nice.

You do realize that in that case you and I would be SHARING non-existance together, don't you?

Penicillin is a mold, not to be placed on the same plane with life ... dummy!

    Friday,

One thing is sure in life....DEATH

You and I will soon share that same fate.
We will be as dead as your dog will be within
    15 years.
You do beleive that at death, you cease to exist
    in all forms.. right?

Not in EVERY case. The Bible shows that some people will live through Armageddon. Those who do have the potential of NEVER dying at all.
