What the hell is wrong with this woman?

AUSSIE OZ- Your JW ex-wife sounds like my JW ex-wife . My JW ex-wife kicked out my son when he turned 18 ( we were divorced by that time ) because he didn't want to attend meetings anymore and told him to dump his non-Witness girlfriend he met at work. He refused and came to live with me for the next 4 or 5 years until he got his own place. We are really close now.
All I can say is you need to continue to be there for your son and tell him you care and love him unconditionally. As he gets towards the later teen years- he WILL see the difference in your authentic caring towards him as compared to the controlling , smothering , stilted cult " love " his JW mom shows him. Be patient. The more your ex-wife keeps screwing up - your son will gravitate towards you if you keep close to him and stay open.
If your son needs some counseling and therapy- I would insist on going with him to keep aware of the situation going on. Don't let your JW ex-wife shut you out of having a voice in your sons life. Hang in there guy. Good luck

Thanks Chris, mr flipper. I chose to be a little vague in the op because i wanted to hear advice based on no JW angle to start with...was it JW related or just dumb parent... you know...
Tis my girl actually. I wish i wasn't talking about mine.
She will be ok i am sure, i will get her help and we have become closer than i could ever have hoped. I am a mix of pride, anger, fear and loathing all rolled into one.
As for son, i do think he will get dunked to be with his JW girl. He admitted last chat that he didnt really believe it that much. So i will be his rock when and if his world crumbles. I want his happyness paramount. If that lies in the arms of the little JW lass then so be it. His mistakes to make, my job as a father is to love him unconditionaly and support him while i am alive to do so.
As for daughters troubles...to quote Tombstone, "Tell them i am coming and that hell is coming with me!"

This situation makes me so angry that my first thought is to cause some bodily harm to the mother. What an ignorant, self-absorbed pig she must be! But kicking her ass wouldn't be productive as much as it would be stress relief. Anyway, get the child therapy and be sure to have it noted that the mother chose to ignore the cause of the problem and used threats to eliminate it, (stupid bitch that she is)....(sorry, still a little angry here!) Then you can kick her ass in court! Good luck!!!!!!!
