    I think Putin is the sort to hang onto power, at any cost imaginable. He'll take your billions, throw you in jail for eternity and that's it. Or he'll just outright have the KGB assassinate you. He simply won't mess around. Rigging elections wouldn't even cross his mind as being unnatural.

    Control is like a thermostat. When it's on it's off. When it's off it's on. That's the fallacy of conspiracy theories and mythical anthropomorphic God's that fight for control just like animals that have to eat, mate, fight for territory and defecate.

    LOL. Who knows? Putin seems to be fairly normal: Russia has a history of being ruled either by tyrants or lunatics- it's the result of not enough sunlight and too much vodka. Putin used restraint in the recent war against Georgia, so maybe fears of some future conflict are unjustified. I wouldn't lose sleep over it...

    I am personally a bit freaked out over the paralells between Hitler's rise to power and Putin. Remember, Hitler was democratically elected and re-elected for years.

    It does bother me greatly that people can't see history repeating itself.

    Frankly, Putin scares me more than Hitler, because Putin seems sane.

    Wasn't the original Babylon a political entity? Therefore why do you conclude that Babylon The Great is NOT a political entity? Are you using the Watchtower process of elimination argument that it has to be Religion because when Babylon the Great goes down the Kings who had illicit intercourse with her are still on the scene mourning her destruction along with the commercial world represented by the traveling merchants.

    If that is your claim it can easily be disproven.
