I am going to have a party on Saturday night for the End of the Mother of all Wars!

Now, it looks like we (or some other country) is at war with Iran, but it's all covert. Drones, assassinations, etc. All going after the nuclear weapons. I like covert wars better. But, I give Iran 12 months to get into an invasion with Iraq.

Didn't Crocodile Dundee say it best? "It's like two fleas fighting over who owns the dog?"

Ron Paul, giving it to John McCain, who was fine with being in Iraq for "100 years".

George jr's war was somewhat redundant in that Saddam was subdued and he was being closely monitored by many outside

government institutions, including the US, he was put in his place by the first gulf war.

The cost to Americans in $$$ and lives lost has to be measured upon why the war was started in the first place.

Which in reflection wasn't very strongly backed.

If Bush thought it was Saddam who orchestrated 911 or had some hand in the attack there is no evidence to prove this suggestion.

The positive aspect to the war might be that Iraq got rid of its corrupt brutal dictator and hopeful now it can move into progressive Democracy.

Are Obama and Ron Paul are the only two people running for President that were against the war in Iraq?

Taking speeches given by political leaders in the States prior to the attack and the war, does not represent in truth

what the leaders think of the Iraq war now.

You must remember they were basing their opinions on information that the Bush administration was handing out at the time

and it is now recognized that that information was inaccurate.

Even during the process of the war it was revealed that information was inaccurate, by what was found in Iraq.

Bush dropped the ball in trying to eliminate Al Qaeda by focusing on Iraq and not Afghanistan.

Obama realized this mistake and that is the reason he brought troops in recently.

Obama was never supportive of going into Iraq for this very reason, the end result is that he took out

Osama Bin Laden and his top cohorts.

Obama is a smarter man than Bush by a long shot, I don't think anyone would dispute that.

Good thing he's the president now.

But, I give Iran 12 months to get into an invasion with Iraq.

I don't know if there will be an invasion, but Iraq will essentially become an Iranian client state.

Are Obama and Ron Paul are the only two people running for President that were against the war in Iraq?

Obama has no problem engaging in wars with other countries--with or without Congressional approval.

    Syria is next.

Obama realized this mistake and that is the reason he brought troops in recently.

From what I understand, the war ended on the schedule set under the Bush Presidency. Just saying, is all.

It is good to see our people come home. Many of them will require our care and support, some of them for the rest of their lives.

Have you noticed the Ad that appears here for the National Guard that keeps popping up with the guy holding a Bible. The Arab world thinks this involvment is just an extension of the Crusades.

I doubt Iran would invade Iraq, they are quite aware what would result in doing this endeavor, particularly by the UN.

The first gulf war and the preceding second one is going to sit in the minds of the Arab world for a time to come.

Was the second war really necessary to accomplish this state of awareness ?, I don't personally think so.

There is a slight chance that Iraq might fall into a civil war between the two main Muslim sects,

if Iraq's economy falters for a long time, but that remains to be seen.
