  I have just finished Ray Franz "Crisis of Conscience":

  I agree with him that this "TRUTH" has become like living in a police state, in fear of saying or doing anything that might even retroactively label you a "Wicked Person"

  I was dragged up from the late 60s. But the religion has changed so much, it is barely recognisable as the same one I grew up loving. I feel it is more like being in a snake pit.

  Does it really stink?

  For whatever reason do you agree? is this too taxing for the mind of a Jdub?

  A really good question and deliver imo hamsterbait. Sort of twin to "how often are you the last poster" or something like that. I should know by now... Do you think they'll catch on? Am I in trouble?

  There used to be more tolerance. Those disfellowshipped who were not opposed, were not shunned or treated harshly.

  It was a snake pit when I was a kid, so no change there.

  We moved countries due to congregation politics.

  They saw us Goody Two Shoes, Needgreaters, as a threat to the incumbent hierarchy and were trumping up accusations to beat down our family's character.
