I'm kind of like your SO, dear Sinis (peace to you!). I "don't want anything", either. However, IF someone HAD to buy me something this year (just HAD to and nothing and no one could stop them - LOLOL!), it would be either:
- A pair of nice black to or just over the knee boots... black, of course... and when I say "nice," I mean NICE and not some doggone clunky chuka or "I can run to the grocery store in these" type boots (or some really comfortable, off the chain cowboy boots!)... with high quality leather uppers... or
- A sewing machine that can handle commercial grade sewing as well as a bit of fancy stitching so's I could finish a project I'm working on (SA winks at Miz Josie - hey, girl - peace to you and the fam!) ... or
- A 13" flatscreen TV for my kitchen (so's I can watch cooking shows/CDS WHILE I'm in there)... or
- A 2011 Lexus RX450 (just kidding... maybe)!
In other words, something that has meaning to ME... that I've either made known outright or hinted at at some point during the year. May have even shown you an example... or two... or three...
My adivce? THINK. No, seriously... THINK! 'Cause she's told/shown you what she wants. You just don't remember. And, since you "don't remember," she's only SAYING she "doesn't want anything"... 'cause she doesn't wanna have to TELL your "help-me-I'm-only-a-man" butt, again.

How about a mini-vacation? Two tickets to paradise (island),or a cruise?
How about a really nice show by her favorite musician, musical, even a figure skating show? Accompanied with dinner at a cozy, Italian restaurant.
Maid service for a year would be GREAT! Molly Maids .. . . If you can't do that, how about YOU give her some vouchers to take over part of the housework?
Does she like dancing? How about you sign BOTH of you up for dancing classes? You get her a pair of ballroom dancing shoes to open on Christmas Day.
Any dude ranches? How about a horse back riding experience? With a cowboy dinner?
Spa is always good. But, you want to KEEP going back every month for another facial, pedi, mani . . . and that's about $150 a wack.

Ask her close friends. I was asked to shop for my sister in law for their 16th anniversary. Ruby put the idea in her husband's head to ask for ideas from her best friend. He gave me $450 and told me to spend it. I'll come back later and tell you what I did. I got our friend's Patsy's help.

Oh, and there are 'cheap' things she should get . . .
How about a calendar of something she likes? I found a daily "Bad Cat" calendar for my sister-in-law who loves cats.
How about some really good lotion, shampoos, etc? That doesn't cost too much and she'll like it.
New coat? Watch? Tennis racket (for both of you)?
Hell, you can just get you both a pair of ATVs and call it a Skeeter shopping trip!
