it says in the section WHAT IS AN NGO

...........NGOs are diverse in structure,membership, and financial support..............

i am wondering did the WTS make any donation or has it given financial support in any way to the UN as an NGO member ?

I have reviewed several hundred articles on the WT/CD and searched under every way I could define the word NGO. I came to an interesting conclusion, WT has carefully avoided any references to NGO status as being as way for Christendom to be riding the beast. Why is this?

NGO status would be the most logical assumption if you wanted to draw a link to how religion has supported the UN. This has been going on since 1945 yet WT has failed to find this simple fact out? I do not think so. There is something here we are missing. Either Wt or one of its corporations have been NGO connected for much longer than 1991. The picture then makes sense. It also would show the greater double life wt has been leading.

This would be a good area to try and find where the actual association was between WT and NGO status. I think their finger got dirty long before 1991. If this assumption if proven it could possibly open up a real can of worms for WT and certainly destroy the library card defense to a greater extent than has been done already. Where do you begin? As the old saying goes, follow the money. There has to be a link for NGO status bringing financial gain, when you find that link, then perhaps it will open the way to find how long WT actually was associated and when they actually joined or benefited as an NGO.

Should we call Oliver Stone yet?

All we have to do now is to make this clear to the Joe Dubb out in the field. I think that's the real problem. We all know the real face of the WT, but I can't even get close to Joe Dubb to tell him. As soon as I start talking, it's :"I don't want to hear it".
The GB still has a real tight grip on the average Joe. How do we break this?

Don't be discouraged. Remember that a man who thinks he has everything, wants for nothing. The average Dub really believes there is nothing else ("Where else have we to go?"). They believe they have the 'truth'. They believe the organisation is being led by the Lord God.

Your own power is very l;imited. You will never penetrate the shield with sales techniques. They may have been taught us as Dubs but they will not succeed against them, for they are blinded.

Just be patient. Bit by bit, drop by drop, you may wear away their shield of faith which is the organisation. Cause that to erode. Speak of one thing each time you converse. Bit by bit. Drop by drop the truth about 'the troof' will be revealed.

I gotta tell you that in my job or at this now hobby of mine there are maybe 10 or so times where there is not a thing I can do. But then there is that one time.

I can tell you that someone on this board has slowly been feeding his better half but only when the better half asked. Slowly and slowly and slowly - this was over a couple of years(just like what Amasing has done). Finally it all got the better half to start checking around. The better half went and found this UN thing. He was ready - he had everything I had published and was prepared. And he used it to his advantage.

Now the better half is taking the rose colour glasses off at an "expontial growth rate".

Most of the stuff I post if for the "thinking JW". Or it is for the average person who gets that "knock on the door" - so they don't get duped by this sick organization and end up killing/shunning their children.

A regular JW should "not" see the light. But you can use it to your advantage. Bit by bit - slowly - and then one day when you least at expect it - pow.

This is interesting. There is the AfricaAid (sp?) NGO that Kent and others have posted.

I will try and look at this angle a bit more. I do have in my possession the 1990 Directory by DPI that lists all NGOs with "consultative" status with ECOSOC and "associate" status with DPI.

I will see what I can find out.

Sorry I missed your question,

I had a long talk with Oleg at DPI over donations etc,.

DPI made it clear that the WTS did not give or take any money from the UN's DPI section when they were "associated" with DPI from 1992 to 2001.
