    Great post! LOL

Amazingly, there was a group of brothers in my congregation who would get together once a month and play poker, complete with cigars...they didn't light them, just bit them. Which, in my opinion, is incredibly stupid. Why waste the money just to bite it and throw it away?

BF smokes cigars once in awhile...he likes to indulge sometimes. His usually cost between $8 and $12 each, depending. I can't imagine spending that much just to bite the damn thing and "look cool" for a poker game with fellow cult members.

Back in the 60s before smoking was a DFing offense we would smoke Cigars after Service on Saturdays. Usually all we could afford were White Owls, but still it was a fun way to unwind...

I will totally try to remember that Jehovahs hates cigars later today when I am smoking one of my Partagas Blacks, Cohibas, Romeo y Julietas, Gloria Cubanas, Exacliburs (1066), Macanudo Cask Aged maduros, La Flor Domininicas or Rocky Patels (Decades, 1 box pressed, 2 in tubes).

And washing that flavor down with delicious scotch. And exchanging Xmas presents with my mom and cousin.

I try to eat right, excercise and take care of myself as much as possible... But I do enjoy a good cigar once a week in my back yard... The Nicaraguan "Padron" is the best in my opinion...

(Lurkers... Don't you find it odd that JW's who smoke occasionally are disfellowshipped while hundreds of thousands of JWs who are slowly killing themselves with extremely unhealthy food and sedentary lifestyles remain in good standing?... just saying)

Entirely Possible... I also enjoy Romeo & Juliettas .... have you had Monte Cristos or Padrons?

I have had montecristos and Padrons. The padron 64 is a particular favorite but definitely on the pricey side of a good smoke. I was just going over what's i n my humidor at the moment off the top of my head. there are some others in there that I can't remember at the moment, it hold around 60 cigars and it's full, there are some singles and doubles in there that I can't recall without looking. If I am not mistaken I also have a few Arturo Fuentes and Counterfeit Cubans in there, maybe some drew estates as well, mainly those are my golf cigars.

Davidoffs aren't bad, also pricey. I have never tried H. Uppman, although I want to. Recently I got some Maria Mancini's that were a good little box pressed smoke, picked up a box of 20 for $36, not a bad price.

I am serious, I always thought of Macanudos as a lighter beginner smoke until I picked up these Cask Aged Maduros. Holy smoke (pun intended) these things are awesome, highly recommended.

I had a Cubita yesterday that was really good. I can also recommend El Rey Del Mundo and Ninjas. I was leery of Ninja as the same was like some of the newer "cigars" like Acid or Ghurka that are infused with flavor and I hate those (I like my whisky to be whisky flavored, my steak to be steak flavored, my coffee to be coffee flavored and my cigars to be cigar flavored), turns out it was a rich and complex smoke with a deep flavor for about $6.

**Edited to add, I specifically like my whisky to be Scotch flavored, as in I drink Scotch if I am buying**

El Rey Del Mundo is a great smoke...full bodied, rich and a decent value!

Lol! Wait, so brothers buy cigars and just bite them? Hahaha maybe they also put scotch in their mouth but don't swallow it...just spit it back into the cup. Maybe they gamble with play money from the monopoly board game. Maybe they look at censored porn or accept only blood fractions! hahahahaha....oh wait.
